Hello! My name is Joshua Eric Rusinov.
I am a Lighting designer & Theatrical Technician who resides in the NYC area
I graduated from SUNY Purchase in 2020 and earning a B.F.A. in Theatre Design/Technology, with a concentration in lighting design and technical direction.
Post graduation I began as a Technical Designer at Empire Technical Fabrication, where I still work as a lead technical designer. I now focus on designing automation control technology and machinery.
I have continued to focus on lighting design, working with groups like Theater 86 (formerly The Russian Arts Theater) and the Greenhouse Ensemble. Designing for film, virtual and live theater

I continue to work in the lighting industry with a focus on Design and all the steps necessary to gain as much experience as possible as part of a design team.
Technical
I continue to work in the industry while focusing on the areas of Project Management and Production Installation. Especially when it comes to Theatrical Automation.
