Moon Box:

- 15' diameter moon box constructed out of wood and painted white on the inside

- Strips of LED tape line the inside alternating between strips of RGBW and solely White tape

- The moon box was then covered by a fabric with the design of a moon

- Suspended on a line set that allowed for movement on a horizontal and vertical axis

- Used in show: Rusalka - Des Moines Metro Opera

Imitation Fluorescents:

- 8' long and 6" wide PVC pipe cut down the center (long way)

- PVC pipe ends were also cut in half and attached to the end of the pipes using pipe glue

- One strip of RGBW LED tape and one of solely White tape were run down the pipe and attached to an encoder

- Once tested the open face of the pipe was covered with milky plexi-glass  

- Used in show: Flight - Des Moines Metro Opera

Handheld Moon:

- 3D printed hand held moon

- I created a circuit composed of 3 LED diodes, 1 battery sleeve, and 1 switch all soldered together

- This was then attached to a rod screwed into the outer casing of the moon and inserted into the center

- Finally this piece is securely attached to the outside of the moon using a see-through lid and screws

- Used in show: Rusalka - Des Moines Metro Opera

Proscenium Ground Row:

- A ground rail constructed out of wood and foam, with plexiglass providing a visible surface for the LED tape

- LED tape is run along each individual section of the ground row (7 sections in total)

- Each individual section receives its own encoder

- DMX is run out of the pit on the stage right side

- Used in show: Flight - Des Moines Metro Opera

Ježibaba Armoire

- A leaning armoire that served as the entrance for the character of Jezibaba

- Wirelessly controlled LED lamps were mounted around the sides and bottom of the armoire

- 2 smoke machines and relevant tubing are attached inside the bottom of the armoire

- 1 machine pumps smoke out of holes at the very bottom, and 1 machine pumps smoke into the interior of the armoire   

- Used in show: Rusalka
